Passing lights and passing lives

I am everything but secure

With the feet of a traveler

I won’t stay long here anyway

A giant black snail shell with oppressive weight

I’ve been carrying on my shoulders far too long

A new age to come

I feel the pale sun caressing my dark eyes

But still the icy haze embraces me

Sepulchral cold, along these serpentine roads

I wished there was something I could call home

Swallowing illusions as big as airplanes

In the endless search for comfort

There is nothing but conformity

What if the only way to become finally free is to abandon our own existence?

Will I have lived if I die tonight?

Is the only real friend sitting at my side called «uncertainty»,

wishing me farewell?

Should I delete those three words and will I still be safe tonight?

Pasando luces y pasando vidas

Soy todo menos seguro

Con los pies de un viajero

No me quedaré mucho tiempo aquí de todos modos

Un caparazón de caracol negro gigante con un peso opresivo

He estado cargando sobre mis hombros demasiado tiempo

Una nueva era por venir

Siento el sol pálido acariciando mis ojos oscuros

Pero aún así la neblina helada me abraza

Frío sepulcral, a lo largo de estos caminos serpenteantes

Desearía que hubiera algo a lo que pudiera llamar hogar

Tragando ilusiones tan grandes como aviones

En la búsqueda interminable de comodidad

No hay nada más que conformidad

¿Y si la única forma de ser finalmente libres es abandonar nuestra propia existencia?

¿Habré vivido si muero esta noche?

Es el único amigo real sentado a mi lado llamado "incertidumbre",

deseándome adiós?

¿Debería eliminar esas tres palabras y seguiré estando a salvo esta noche?
