Psalm 139:7-16 - The Corner Room

Where shall I go from Your Spirit?

Or where shall I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend to heaven, You are there

If I make my bed in Sheol, You are there

If I take the wings of the morning

And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea

Even there Your hand shall lead me

And Your right hand shall hold me

If I say, «Surely the darkness shall cover me

And the light about me be night,»

Even the darkness is not dark to You

The night is bright as the day

For darkness is as light with You

Where shall I go from Your Spirit?

Or where shall I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend to heaven, You are there

If I make my bed in Sheol, You are there

For You formed my inward parts

You knitted me together in my mother’s womb

I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made

Wonderful are Your works

My soul knows it very well

Where shall I go from Your Spirit?

Or where shall I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend to heaven, You are there

If I make my bed in Sheol, You are there

My frame was not hidden from You

When I was being made in secret

Intricately woven in the depths of the earth

Your eyes saw my unformed substance

In Your book were written, every one of them

The days that were formed for me

When as yet there was none of them

Where shall I go from Your Spirit?

Or where shall I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend to heaven, You are there

If I make my bed in Sheol, You are there

You are there

¿Adónde me iré de Tu Espíritu?

¿O adónde huiré de tu presencia?

Si subo al cielo, allí estás tú

Si hago mi lecho en el Seol, allí estás tú

Si tomo las alas de la mañana

Y habitar en los confines del mar

Incluso allí tu mano me guiará

Y tu diestra me sostendrá

Si digo: «Ciertamente las tinieblas me cubrirán

Y la luz a mi alrededor sea de noche,»

Incluso la oscuridad no es oscura para ti

La noche es clara como el día

Porque las tinieblas son como luz contigo

¿Adónde me iré de Tu Espíritu?

¿O adónde huiré de tu presencia?

Si subo al cielo, allí estás tú

Si hago mi lecho en el Seol, allí estás tú

Porque Tú formaste mis partes internas

Me entretejiste en el vientre de mi madre

Te alabo, porque estoy maravillosa y maravillosamente hecho

Maravillosas son tus obras

mi alma lo sabe muy bien

¿O adónde huiré de tu presencia?

Si subo al cielo, allí estás tú

Si hago mi lecho en el Seol, allí estás tú

Mi marco no se te escondió

Cuando me estaban haciendo en secreto

Intrincadamente tejido en las profundidades de la tierra

Tus ojos vieron mi sustancia informe

En Tu libro fueron escritos, cada uno de ellos

Los días que se formaron para mí

Cuando todavía no había ninguno de ellos
