So Free Are The Wolves - Thy Serpent

In the shadows of the trees

I looked that huge icy opening

Where the wolves turmoiled

They seemed so free…

I moved slowly between the trees

Towards the pack of wolves…

They seemed so untouchable

And they didn’t even notice…

At last one of the wolves looked at me

Anger than was face of the wolf

Changed to observing look

Slowly it walked towards me

It didn’t show his teeth

Only its hesitating look

Tears flowed slowly from my eyes

When I realized that it had accepted me

I walked ever closer to that pack of thousandheaded

Wolves started at me, not angirly but observing

At last they came to me

Overturned me down and licked my cold face

Suddenly a huge thuder was

Heard from those mountains

The storms arrived.

Hard wind started to blow

It blew all that snow to my eyes

Wolves watched me for a moment

And ran towards of sunset…

I tried to run after them

But so cold I had that I fell on my knees

I cried teard of desperation

Life was turned its back on to me

Now the death was real

I started to walk towards that icy pond

I looked my self from surface of the ice

So pale and dead I was

I broke the cover of ice with my last stenght

And I allowed myself to flow deep…

With smile on my face I died;

Into those thick waters…

En las sombras de los árboles

Miré esa enorme abertura helada

Donde los lobos se agitaron

Parecían tan libres...

Me moví lentamente entre los árboles

Hacia la manada de lobos…

Parecían tan intocables

Y ni se dieron cuenta...

Por fin uno de los lobos me miro

La ira que era la cara del lobo

Cambiado a mirada de observación

Lentamente caminó hacia mí

No mostró los dientes

Sólo su mirada vacilante

Las lágrimas brotaron lentamente de mis ojos

Cuando me di cuenta de que me había aceptado

Caminé cada vez más cerca de esa manada de mil cabezas

Los lobos comenzaron a mirarme, no enojados pero observando.

Por fin vinieron a mí

Me volcó y lamió mi cara fría

De repente, un gran estruendo fue

Escuché desde esas montañas

Llegaron las tormentas.

Fuerte viento comenzó a soplar

Sopló toda esa nieve a mis ojos

Los lobos me observaron por un momento

Y corrió hacia el atardecer...

Traté de correr tras ellos

Pero tanto frío tenía que caí de rodillas

lloré lágrimas de desesperación

La vida me dio la espalda

Ahora la muerte era real

comencé a caminar hacia ese estanque helado

Me miré desde la superficie del hielo

Tan pálido y muerto que estaba

Rompí la cubierta de hielo con mi última fuerza

Y me permití fluir profundo...

Con una sonrisa en mi rostro morí;

En esas aguas espesas...
