Back to some hills we knew.

Quiet and dim is where we grew.

Silent and dark,

Matter attracted you down and apart.

All of my days dragged on.

Footing was weak, slopes were strong.

Stay, make up a bed

But don’t ever call it a home.

Come and go, pile some things,

But you’ll spend your days under that roof alone.

Sleep, but the night there is so long.

No good tracks to follow you back

To see where you’re wandering to.

When I need some rest you wake and move.

When I’m remote,

Remember I wrestled the wind high and low,

That I tried to pull us out.

Some valleys sink and slope too hard.
