All I Have in Adam Is but Sin and Death - Living Stream Ministry

I in Christ inherit Life and Righteousness

When in Flesh abiding, Adam I express

But when in the Spirit Christ is manifest

2.When I am in Adam, though I may not sin,

Unto death, a sinner, sentenced I have been;

When in Christ I need not righteously to act,

I’m already righteous, justified in fact.

3.In the flesh I need no effort to express

Marks of Adam’s nature and its sinfulness;

In the spirit I need not to strive or strain,

I can live as He is and in spirit reign.

Thru my life with Christ, new life is given me!

Minding not the flesh, old Adam cannot move,

Minding just the spirit, life divine I prove.

Minding just the spirit, Christ we will display;

Minding just the spirit, we can overcome,

Minding just the spirit, we the race may run.

And His resurrection pow’r thru us will flow;

Minding just the spirit, Christ will live thru me,

And His life within will reach maturity.

Strengthening and blessing all-inclusively;

Living in the spirit, holiness I prove,

And the triune God within my heart doth move.

Yo en Cristo heredo la Vida y la Justicia

Cuando en Carne permaneciendo, Adán expreso

Pero cuando en el Espíritu Cristo se manifiesta

2. Cuando esté en Adán, aunque no peque,

A muerte, pecador, sentenciado he sido;

Cuando en Cristo no necesito actuar con justicia,

Ya soy justo, justificado de hecho.

3. En la carne no necesito ningún esfuerzo para expresar

Marcas de la naturaleza de Adán y su pecaminosidad;

En el espíritu no necesito esforzarme ni esforzarme,

Puedo vivir como Él es y en espíritu reinar.

¡A través de mi vida con Cristo, se me da nueva vida!

Sin preocuparse por la carne, el viejo Adán no puede moverse,

Cuidando solo el espíritu, la vida divina pruebo.

Cuidando solo el espíritu, mostraremos a Cristo;

Cuidando solo el espíritu, podemos vencer,

Cuidando solo el espíritu, podemos correr la carrera.

Y Su poder de resurrección a través de nosotros fluirá;

Cuidando solo el espíritu, Cristo vivirá a través de mí,

Y Su vida interior alcanzará la madurez.

Fortalecimiento y bendición todo incluido;

Viviendo en el espíritu, la santidad pruebo,

Y el Dios trino dentro de mi corazón se mueve.
