The moon is nearly full

These old hills are full of light

The woman I love don’t want me

And people I just can’t feel right

I got a lot of friends

And they are so kind to me

But they’re just kind to a shadow

Of the man I used to be

She loves somebody else

That story’s older than the moon

I wrote my one little chapter

I hope to close the book real soon

Morning has to come

And the black sky turn to blue

She told me that she loved me

While she let another man come to her

The moon is nearly full

I only want to hold her tight

Until they put me under the ground

People, I ain’t never gonna feel right

La luna está casi llena

Estas viejas colinas están llenas de luz

La mujer que amo no me quiere

Y la gente con la que simplemente no puedo sentirme bien

tengo muchos amigos

Y son tan amables conmigo

Pero son amables con una sombra

Del hombre que solía ser

ella ama a alguien más

Esa historia es más vieja que la luna

Escribí mi pequeño capítulo

Espero cerrar el libro muy pronto.

La mañana tiene que llegar

Y el cielo negro se vuelve azul

Ella me dijo que me amaba
