Prologue - The Discovery - Black Messiah

There was a time when the world was young and no man had ever trodden the face

of the earth, whence it happened that Odin, foremost und mightiest of the Æsir

dynasty, rode across the vast plains of Æsgaard to feast his very eyes upon his

realm.

His gaze fell upon meadows green, vast and dense forests, rivers and streams

abundant of fish and mighty whose snow-covered peaks reached far into the

endless sky.

After he had ridden for seven days, his gaze fell upon a city stretching far

upon the eastern horizon, never before he had seen this city nor had he deemed

it’s existence to be possible, as the only dynasty supposed of making their

home in Æsgaard was the one of the Æsir.

Odin rode closer and took cover behind an ancient oak tree.

He called upon his ravens Hugin and Minin, to be his eyes and ears,

and sent them forth to scry upon the miracles which might hide beneath the

city walls.

He saw figures of men, looking seemingly alike to his own peaople and he also

saw the miracles they were able to work.

One he saw, was using just the powers of his spirit to grow trees in his garden

and he saw another using his will to call sparkling water frm the plkain earth

to cultivate his fields.

And Odin heard how they spoke to each other.

Thus he became aware of their name.

They called themselves «Vanir»

For three days and three nights his ravens stayed in the city of Vanir and for

three days and three nights he remained hidden behind the ancient oak tree.

Then, when he decided to have seen and heard enough, he summoned back his

messengers and turned away from Vanaheim.

Hastily he rode back towards the sacred halls of Valhalla to give account of

his discovery…

To give account of the terrible threat rising in the east!

Hubo un tiempo en que el mundo era joven y ningún hombre había pisado la cara

de la tierra, de donde sucedió que Odín, el primero y el más poderoso de los Æsir

dinastía, cabalgó a través de las vastas llanuras de Æsgaard para deleitar sus propios ojos con su

reino.

Su mirada recayó sobre prados verdes, vastos y densos bosques, ríos y arroyos.

abundantes en peces y poderosos cuyos picos cubiertos de nieve se adentraban en el

cielo sin fin.

Después de haber cabalgado durante siete días, su mirada se posó en una ciudad que se extendía a lo largo

en el horizonte oriental, nunca antes había visto esta ciudad ni había considerado

su existencia para ser posible, como la única dinastía supuesta de hacer su

casa en Æsgaard era la de los Æsir.

Odín cabalgó más cerca y se refugió detrás de un roble antiguo.

Llamó a sus cuervos Hugin y Minin, para que fueran sus ojos y oídos,

y los envió a escudriñar sobre los milagros que podrían esconderse debajo de la

paredes de la cuidad.

Vio figuras de hombres, aparentemente iguales a su propia gente y también

vieron los milagros que pudieron hacer.

Uno que vio, estaba usando solo los poderes de su espíritu para hacer crecer árboles en su jardín.

y vio a otro usando su voluntad para llamar agua con gas de la tierra plkain

para cultivar sus campos.

Y Odín escuchó cómo se hablaban entre ellos.

Así se dio cuenta de su nombre.

Se hacían llamar «Vanir»

Durante tres días y tres noches sus cuervos se quedaron en la ciudad de Vanir y durante

tres días y tres noches permaneció escondido detrás del viejo roble.

Entonces, cuando decidi haber visto y odo lo suficiente, convoc a su

mensajeros y se alejó de Vanaheim.

Se apresuró a cabalgar de regreso a los salones sagrados de Valhalla para dar cuenta de

su descubrimiento…
