Bread and butter, macaroni, corned beef, ham, also Bologna

Lemonade and grape juice, Quiche Lorraine and cous-cous

Chicken fried and baked and broiled, mushroom stems stir fried in oil…

And don’t forget when you are through, we’ll have some desert for you

There’s apple pie and brownies, peaches, plums and nectarines

Cookies, cake and candied sweets and yogurt mixed with cottage cheese

Lemon custard, apple strudel, luchen kugle (it's cooked with noodles)

Drippy, runny ice cream cones 'cause kids can’t live by bread alone.»

I are so much my tummy hurt, I popped the buttons off my shirt

I bulged so big, I split my side, But still my plate was piled high

I said, «I think I’ve had enough,» they made me eat more--I was stuffed

Limonada y zumo de uva, Quiche Lorraine y cous-cous

Pollo frito y al horno y asado, tallos de champiñones salteados en aceite…

Y no olvides que cuando hayas terminado, tendremos algo de desierto para ti.

Hay tarta de manzana y brownies, melocotones, ciruelas y nectarinas

Galletas, pasteles y dulces confitados y yogur mezclado con requesón

Natilla de limón, strudel de manzana, luchen kugle (se cocina con fideos)

Conos de helado chorreantes y goteantes porque los niños no pueden vivir solo de pan.»

Me duele tanto la barriga que me quité los botones de la camisa

Me hinché tanto que me partí el costado, pero aún así mi plato estaba apilado

Dije: «Creo que ya tuve suficiente», me hicieron comer más, estaba lleno

Limpié el plato, ahora en todas partes, la gente empuja, señala y mira

Siempre que voy por la calle la gente se para a mirarme
