Black Waves - Vreid

White foam cover the blackness

Like a frowning beast it tumbles

It looks so timeless and eternal

So far from the known world

In glimpse from the skies

Moonlight is shed on this beast

Stretching through the horizon

It’s mountain like endlessly deep

Into the black waves I am sinking

Drowning away from the ghosts

Disappearing into eternity

Into the mirror of my soul

The pounding sound is mesmerizing

A roaring surface with a hidden beneath

Listening to its monotony

Over and over it repeats

Espuma blanca cubre la negrura

Como una bestia que frunce el ceño, cae

Se ve tan atemporal y eterno

Tan lejos del mundo conocido

En un vistazo desde los cielos

La luz de la luna se derrama sobre esta bestia

Estirándose a través del horizonte

Es una montaña como infinitamente profunda

En las olas negras me estoy hundiendo

Ahogándose lejos de los fantasmas

Desapareciendo en la eternidad

En el espejo de mi alma

El sonido de los golpes es fascinante.

Una superficie rugiente con un oculto debajo

Escuchando su monotonía

Una y otra vez se repite
