What the fuck has to happen to you?

How does a moral compass get so skewed?

To think what you’re doing is justified?

The violence, the brutality

Honourable to your deity?

None of this makes any sense to me

This world is not your enemy

These ideas in these old pages have laid down roots

Poisoned the minds of our youth

So blinded by their rage that they can’t see the truth

Thousand year old dusty books

Interpreted by liars and crooks

Whatever you have done in the hopes of heaven

There’s no forgiveness for your transgressions

Is it the promise of heaven?

Or just the promise of a better future?

Or are you so insecure that you need to live forever?

Get it right the first time

'Cos when you close your eyes it’ll be the last time

Life is precious man

And if your God can’t see that then maybe he’s no God at all

Just a man who wrote a book that played into every insecurity that you ever felt

To excuse your behaviour

Your destructive human nature

If there’s any justice in this life

Maybe there will be a hell

Or at least somewhere that you will never rest

¿Cómo se desvía tanto una brújula moral?

¿Pensar que lo que estás haciendo está justificado?

La violencia, la brutalidad.

¿Honorable a tu deidad?

Nada de esto tiene ningún sentido para mí

Este mundo no es tu enemigo

Estas ideas en estas viejas páginas han echado raíces

Envenenado las mentes de nuestra juventud

Tan cegados por su rabia que no pueden ver la verdad

Libros polvorientos milenarios

Interpretado por mentirosos y ladrones

Todo lo que has hecho con la esperanza del cielo

No hay perdón para tus transgresiones

¿Es la promesa del cielo?

¿O solo la promesa de un futuro mejor?

¿O eres tan inseguro que necesitas vivir para siempre?

Hazlo bien la primera vez

Porque cuando cierres los ojos será la última vez

La vida es un hombre precioso

Y si tu Dios no puede ver eso, entonces tal vez no sea Dios en absoluto.

Solo un hombre que escribió un libro que jugaba con todas las inseguridades que alguna vez sentiste

Para excusar tu comportamiento

Tu naturaleza humana destructiva

Si hay algo de justicia en esta vida

Tal vez habrá un infierno

O al menos un lugar donde nunca descansarás
