Their chins upon their clenched hands, and smiled

And vipers crawled

Hissing, but stingless

They were slain for food

A meal was bought with blood

And each sate apart

Gorging himself in gloom: No love was left

Las cejas de los hombres a la luz desesperada tenían un aspecto sobrenatural

Los destellos cayeron sobre ellos;

Y las víboras se arrastraron
