What a beautiful thought that I am thinking

Concerning a great speckled bird

Remember her name is recorded

On the pages of God’s Holy Word

Desiring to lower her standard

They watch every move that she makes

They long to find fault with her teachings

But really they find no mistake

I am glad I have learned of her meekness

I am proud that my name is in her book

For I want to be one never fearing

The face of my Savior to look

When He cometh descending from heaven

On the cloud that He writes in His Word

I’ll be joyfully carried to meet Him

On the wings of that great speckled bird

Que hermoso pensamiento el que estoy pensando

Acerca de un gran pájaro moteado

Recuerda que su nombre está grabado

En las páginas de la Santa Palabra de Dios

Deseando bajar su estándar

Miran cada movimiento que ella hace

Anhelan encontrar fallas en sus enseñanzas.

Pero realmente no encuentran ningún error

Me alegro de haber aprendido de su mansedumbre.

Estoy orgulloso de que mi nombre esté en su libro.

Porque quiero ser uno que nunca teme

El rostro de mi Salvador para mirar

Cuando venga descendiendo del cielo

En la nube que El escribe en Su Palabra

Seré llevado con gozo para encontrarme con Él

En las alas de ese gran pájaro moteado
