We went for a walk in the woods

And the patios are closed now

Fuimos a dar un paseo por el bosque

Era otoño, pero las hojas todavía estaban encendidas.

Los pájaros cantaban, dijiste que era «el tono de llamada de la naturaleza»

Y los patios están cerrados ahora

Y en casa estamos desenterrando nuestras bufandas

Y en unas pocas semanas los dejaremos en el bar

Donde si tenemos el descaro de tratar de compartir esta parte de la vida

Saldremos del brazo, borrachos, asustados y con el cuello desnudo
