Once, on another weary day of mine

Just when the sun began to fondle mother earth

On a hill I stood to behold this crimson embrace

A stricken field to my feet (under bloody mist)

Myriad hollow staring eyes

Wrapped in red clouds

The corvine goddess appeared

Emptiness filled my mind

Fervid thoughts crawled suddenly into me…

Morrigan — three faced goddess dark and wild

For thee I’ll raise my sword and shield

Morrigan — grimest crow beneath the sky

May the eyes of thousands please thy raging greed

Come forth now grimest crow

Thou cry shall shatter earth and sky

…Like a shrieking carnyce…

In thy shadow I shall stand forevermore

I send thee hail and eternal troth…

Night descended and the stars within my eyes

Cleared my mind and aflamed my heart

I flee thy corvine ire

Justo cuando el sol comenzaba a acariciar a la madre tierra

En una colina me paré para contemplar este abrazo carmesí

Un campo herido a mis pies (bajo una niebla sangrienta)

Miríada de ojos huecos mirando

Envuelto en nubes rojas

Apareció la diosa corvina

El vacío llenó mi mente

Pensamientos fervorosos se arrastraron repentinamente dentro de mí...

Morrigan: diosa de tres caras, oscura y salvaje

Por ti levantaré mi espada y mi escudo

Morrigan: el cuervo más siniestro bajo el cielo

Que los ojos de miles complazcan tu furiosa codicia

Ven ahora cuervo más sombrío

Tu grito destrozará la tierra y el cielo

... Como un carnyce chillando...

En tu sombra me pararé para siempre

Te mando salve y fe eterna...

La noche descendió y las estrellas dentro de mis ojos

Aclaró mi mente y encendió mi corazón

Huyo de tu ira corvina
