In the middle of the jungle.

There are ruins of temples build along ago

Stone by stone.

They were made by the Mayas.

A tribe that is not so well known.

Each pictures on the wall.

Recorded history.

They were gazing at the sky.

On the year monuments marked time.

But altars meant death and fear.

Worshipping gods now gone long time ago.

The population grew new cities were found.

What happened then?

Was it strange decease that wiped away almost everyone.

These th ings died right the way almost everyone.

Or it might have been starvation caused by drought and a scorching sun.

It’s a mystery.

The way they disappeared.

It’s now history.

We will never know.

Hay ruinas de templos construidos hace mucho tiempo

Piedra por piedra.

Fueron hechos por los mayas.

Una tribu que no es tan conocida.

Cada imagen en la pared.

Historia recordada.

Estaban mirando al cielo.

En el año los monumentos marcaban el tiempo.

Pero los altares significaban muerte y miedo.

Adorar a los dioses ahora se ha ido hace mucho tiempo.

La población creció y se encontraron nuevas ciudades.

¿Fue extraño el fallecimiento que aniquiló a casi todos?

Estas cosas murieron de la misma manera que casi todos.

O podría haber sido el hambre causada por la sequía y un sol abrasador.

Es un misterio.

La forma en que desaparecieron.

Ahora es historia.
