I saw some hippies, they were laying in the park

So I, asked if I could join them (do you guys mind if I hang out for a lil bit?)

They said sure, and complimented my aura

I said thanks and sat right down

Pulled the hash pipe out and relaxed myself for hours straight

Sat around baked and it felt great

We talked shit and made pictures out of cloud shapes

we talked about the tofu, no shoes, folk tunes and all the protests that they

don’t do

Smoking doobies and talking 'bout the reason we were saving the entire world,

then we went and fired twelve

Later that night we were sitting in the same spot, made up my mind,

figured I’d take off

I asked 'em all «so what else do you guys do?»

They looked surprised «this is it, we get high»

As I was walking from the park where the hippies were, I bumped into a bunch of

drunks wearing business shirts

And they just finished work, having a well earned drink and they mistook me for

some dude they used to work with

Yeah they kept calling me Greg

I thought Well I could be Greg, at least for the weekend, and just pretend to

be what a sweet plan

We could be friends, at the time it made complete sense

We went into a bar where we drank, and we talked about all that money sitting

in the bank, and our job

A stock in the economy as well, and the best time to go and buy a property and

sell

And all the ways that money could be spent

A trend started to form I was bored so I said, «well, I’m looking for a scene,

and this one isn’t it»

Lifted and heard em whispering «Greg seems different»

Rocked up to a party with some cheap beer

either way I felt unsafe in the water

I was chilling with gym junkies, talking bout their gym past spin class,

sipping slim fast from a hip flask, told a guy thought we looked the same,

didn’t think he’d take offense

Pretty weird I think he said his name was Greg

I must’ve tried at least hundred different scenes but I aint never found one

that’s really me nah

Maybe I’m a weirdo, or maybe they’re the weird ones, or maybe I don’t really

even need one

But I’m still,

Más tarde esa noche estábamos sentados en el mismo lugar, me decidí,

pensé que me iría

Se miraron sorprendidos «esto es todo, nos drogamos»

Mientras caminaba desde el parque donde estaban los hippies, me topé con un montón de

borrachos con camisas de negocios

Y acababan de terminar de trabajar, tomándose un merecido trago y me confundieron con

un tipo con el que solían trabajar

Pensé Bueno, podría ser Greg, al menos durante el fin de semana, y solo pretender

ser que dulce plan

Podríamos ser amigos, en ese momento tenía mucho sentido

Entramos en un bar donde bebimos y hablamos de todo ese dinero sentados

en el banco, y nuestro trabajo

Una acción en la economía también, y el mejor momento para ir y comprar una propiedad y

vender

Y todas las formas en que se podría gastar el dinero

Comenzó a formarse una tendencia. Estaba aburrido, así que dije: «bueno, estoy buscando una escena,

y este no lo es»

Metido en una fiesta con un poco de cerveza barata

Un montón de tipos me desafiaron a un halo

Vi unos lindos hipsters en la esquina, que me dijeron que sus

Hablé con abogados vestidos de tiburones, o tal vez tiburones vestidos de abogados,

de cualquier manera me sentí inseguro en el agua

Estaba relajándome con adictos al gimnasio, hablando sobre su gimnasio después de la clase de spinning,

bebiendo delgado y rápido de una petaca, le dijo a un chico que pensaba que nos veíamos iguales,

no pensó que se ofendería

Bastante raro, creo que dijo que su nombre era Greg.

Debo haber probado al menos cien escenas diferentes, pero nunca encontré una.

Tal vez soy un bicho raro, o tal vez ellos son los raros, o tal vez realmente no

incluso necesito uno
