I can hear you moving around downstairs.

Dragging your feet as you walk back and forth through the house.

Running your hand over the piano keys absentmindedly as you pass by.

I want to join you.

I sit up slowly in my bed.

It’s dark outside but there’s a light glowing in the yard & it’s coming in

through the windows.

I can hear the wind blowing the leaves around.

I hear your voice downstairs and I want to join you.

Turning away, I walk down the hallway to the stairs where I sit and wait.

The noises have all stopped and i see you standing by the window with your back

to me, the light from the yard wrapping around your hair.

I want to say something but i can’t speak.

The room starts to fade & there is only you in the light and nothing else.

Puedo oírte moverte por las escaleras.

Arrastrar los pies mientras camina de un lado a otro por la casa.

Pasar la mano por las teclas del piano distraídamente al pasar.

Me incorporo lentamente en mi cama.

Afuera está oscuro pero hay una luz que brilla en el patio y está entrando

Alejándome, camino por el pasillo hacia las escaleras donde me siento y espero.

Todos los ruidos han cesado y te veo de pie junto a la ventana de espaldas.

para mí, la luz del patio envolviendo tu cabello.

Quiero decir algo pero no puedo hablar.

La habitación comienza a desvanecerse y solo estás tú en la luz y nada más.
