Meaning - Ren

The meaning of this life can change

It’s just how you observe it

Like you can’t stop a wave

But you can learn to surf it

So it’s all down to interpretation…

Remember…

One man changed the laws of physics with a three letter equation

So I take that same principle and I apply it to life

For every moment’s an oportunity in a different disguise

To be aware of your potential is to open our eyes

The only force that works against us is the ticking of time

But I accept mine

I stare death in the face

I take hold of its bony fingers

I hold death in embrace

For to accept death, that is to be free of fear

And we can fill the gap with love and time just seems to dissapear

For what is the use in working a nine to five job

Trying to build some sort of status for ourself before our time is up

If when we get there we feel the same as we did from the start

Material wealth will never quench a thirsty heart

We spend so much time searching for the meaning of our existence

That sometimes we forget to just exist through sheer persistence

Buddhist monks will spend days in deep meditation

And saints will contemplate God and all of his crations

Scientist will try to summarize with and equation

Consumerist they’ll try to buy the ticket to salvation

Well this is my theory

This is my school of thought

The meaning of life is much easier that once thought…

I think that the meaning of life

It is to simply live

And if I am wrong

Then lord please forgive

But it seems so simple

It’s obvious

It makes me want to shout out

That the meaning of life is this moment

This second

Right here

Right now

El sentido de esta vida puede cambiar

Es solo como lo observas

Como si no pudieras detener una ola

Pero puedes aprender a navegarlo

Así que todo se reduce a la interpretación...

Un hombre cambió las leyes de la física con una ecuación de tres letras

Así que tomo ese mismo principio y lo aplico a la vida

Porque cada momento es una oportunidad con un disfraz diferente

Ser consciente de tu potencial es abrirnos los ojos

La única fuerza que trabaja contra nosotros es el tictac del tiempo

pero acepto el mio

Miro a la muerte a la cara

agarro sus dedos huesudos

Tengo la muerte en un abrazo

Porque aceptar la muerte, eso es estar libre de miedo

Y podemos llenar el vacío con amor y el tiempo parece desaparecer

¿De qué sirve trabajar en un trabajo de nueve a cinco?

Intentar construir algún tipo de estatus para nosotros mismos antes de que se nos acabe el tiempo.

Si al llegar nos sentimos igual que al principio

La riqueza material nunca apagará un corazón sediento

Pasamos tanto tiempo buscando el sentido de nuestra existencia

Que a veces nos olvidamos de existir por pura persistencia

Monjes budistas pasarán días en profunda meditación

Y los santos contemplarán a Dios y todas sus creaciones

El científico intentará resumir con una ecuación

Consumistas intentarán comprar el boleto a la salvación

bueno esta es mi teoria

Esta es mi escuela de pensamiento

El sentido de la vida es mucho más fácil de lo que alguna vez se pensó…

Creo que el sentido de la vida

es simplemente vivir

Y si me equivoco

Entonces señor por favor perdona

Pero parece tan simple

Es obvio

Me dan ganas de gritar

Que el sentido de la vida es este momento

Este segundo

Aquí mismo

Ahora mismo
