Here we go again

Another brother shot dead in the street

Police say it was drug related

All in all that’s what they believe

What about his mother

She’s gonna live off her life in pain

See 'cuz that was her only son

Is this what our future brings?

It was a shotgun blast

That’s all we heard

So we paused and no one said a word

Then we saw some people running up the block

So we ran to find that Bobby was shot

Bobby never bothered anyone

What I mean to say is he was cool

What a way to go out in life

Not knowing that the next one’s you

Tragedy:

Running through my head

One minute he was here

And the next he was dead

His mother yelling, «Bobby, please stay awake!»

Then Bobby closed his eyes and died as she cried

Two years have come and gone

And I still see his mother

But she’s got a little baby now

And he reminds me of his brother

But never forgetting the day that Bobby passed

She visits the corner and lights a candle tor everyone to see

Where the graffiti reads «Rest In Peace»

And the shit still runs through my head

One minute he was here and the next he was dead

His mother yelling «Bobby, please stay awake!»

Then Bobby closed his eyes and died as she cried

Aquí vamos de nuevo

Otro hermano asesinado a tiros en la calle

La policía dice que estaba relacionado con las drogas.

En general, eso es lo que creen

¿Qué hay de su madre?

Ella va a vivir de su vida en el dolor

Ver porque ese era su único hijo

¿Es esto lo que trae nuestro futuro?

Fue un disparo de escopeta

Eso es todo lo que escuchamos

Así que hicimos una pausa y nadie dijo una palabra

Luego vimos a algunas personas corriendo por la cuadra

Así que corrimos para encontrar que le dispararon a Bobby

Bobby nunca molestó a nadie.

Lo que quiero decir es que era genial.

Que manera de salir en la vida

Sin saber que el próximo eres tú

Tragedia:

Corriendo por mi cabeza

Un minuto estaba aquí

Y al siguiente estaba muerto

Su madre gritando: «¡Bobby, por favor mantente despierto!»

Entonces Bobby cerró los ojos y murió mientras ella lloraba.

¡Detrás de la burocracia!

Dos años han ido y venido

Y todavía veo a su madre

Pero ella tiene un pequeño bebé ahora

Y me recuerda a su hermano

Pero sin olvidar el día que murió Bobby

Ella visita la esquina y enciende una vela para que todos vean

Donde el grafiti dice «Descanse en paz»

Y la mierda todavía corre por mi cabeza

Un minuto estaba aquí y al siguiente estaba muerto

Su madre gritando «¡Bobby, por favor mantente despierto!»

Entonces Bobby cerró los ojos y murió mientras ella lloraba.
