Moments Of Meditation - Porter Wagoner

I see the sky and wonder why it’s blue instead of red

I see a tree that’s lost its leaves and wonder why it’s dead

And the sun that keeps us warm and fills the day with light

Then I marvel at the stars that twinkle through the night

The mountain peaks that stand so high they seem to disappear into the sky

And across the snow capped mountain I see the blue horizon

With streaks of whiter that linger there behind the jets sublime

Such miracles my eyes behold all part of God’s creation

There’s so much beauty to be seen in moments of meditation

I speak to God while quiet and still the questions in my mind

Of things that I don’t understand each myst’ry that I find

I find the answer quickly there for my soul’s salvation

When I talk to God in moments of meditation

I ask God why someone like I should be so richtly blessed

While some who speaks his name so true and hungry and distressed

Then his voice is silent in my meditation with him

Which lets me know that some things must be known only to him

There’s none so great as God the father the king of all kings

The writer of each holy word and creator of all things

He gave his son to offer life through Jesus Christ salvation

That every man might speak with him in moments of meditation

Veo el cielo y me pregunto por qué es azul en lugar de rojo

Veo un árbol que ha perdido sus hojas y me pregunto por qué está muerto.

Y el sol que nos abriga y llena de luz el día

Entonces me maravillo de las estrellas que brillan a través de la noche

Los picos de las montañas que son tan altos que parecen desaparecer en el cielo

Y al otro lado de la montaña cubierta de nieve veo el horizonte azul

Con rayas de más blanco que se quedan allí detrás de los chorros sublimes

Tales milagros mis ojos contemplan toda parte de la creación de Dios

Hay tanta belleza para ser vista en los momentos de meditación.

Hablo con Dios en silencio y quieto las preguntas en mi mente

De cosas que no entiendo cada misterio que encuentro

Rápidamente encuentro allí la respuesta para la salvación de mi alma.

Cuando hablo con Dios en momentos de meditación

Le pregunto a Dios por qué alguien como yo debería ser tan ricamente bendecido

Mientras que algunos que pronuncian su nombre tan sinceramente y hambrientos y angustiados

Entonces su voz es silenciosa en mi meditación con él.

Lo que me hace saber que algunas cosas deben ser conocidas solo por él.

No hay nadie tan grande como Dios padre el rey de todos los reyes

El escritor de cada palabra sagrada y creador de todas las cosas

Dio a su hijo para ofrecer la vida por Jesucristo salvación

Que todo hombre pueda hablar con él en los momentos de meditación
