Tragedy - Population 1

I thought it was the foam that covered the one wave

But I found out I was one, just one of those

When something takes me over… takes me over so intense

It’s like going through a mountain finding out it’s just a hole

And it feels like swimming… swimming in an empty lake…

Swimming in my own mind… circles that never end

Maybe I’m walking on the water… maybe I’m talking in the ice…

And just when I start laughing… everything melts down in my eyes

I climbed till the top of the tree… and find out there was nothing to see

Pensé que era la espuma que cubría la ola

Pero descubrí que era uno, solo uno de esos

Cuando algo me domina… me domina tan intensamente

Es como atravesar una montaña y descubrir que solo es un agujero.

Y se siente como nadar... nadar en un lago vacío...

Nadando en mi propia mente... círculos que nunca terminan

Tal vez estoy caminando sobre el agua... tal vez estoy hablando en el hielo...

Y justo cuando empiezo a reír... todo se derrite en mis ojos

Subí hasta la copa del árbol... y descubrí que no había nada que ver
