The Forest of Wonders -

When the sun goes down

As the world falls asleep

Taken By Curiosity

I behold the forest so deep

I hear calling of owls

The wind as it howls

the last song of the birds till dawn

to this, I’m most drawn

Into a world of mystery

I journey on embraced by the breeze

My only guide be the fireflies

and their power to mesmerize

The spirits of trees

The magnificent canopies

Draped in Growing vines

one by one they intertwine

I hear the gentle strum of a lute

mixed with the rush of the water shoot

Losing all conciousness of time

discovering a new sublime

Out of mist the entitites take flight

Forming a cluster of colour and light

Harvesting Honey and acorns for their Kin

Twinkling, as they dance on the wind

Cuando el sol se oculta

Mientras el mundo se duerme

Tomado por la curiosidad

Veo el bosque tan profundo

Escucho el canto de los búhos

El viento mientras aúlla

el último canto de los pájaros hasta el amanecer

a esto, estoy más atraído

En un mundo de misterio

sigo adelante abrazado por la brisa

Mi única guía son las luciérnagas

y su poder para hipnotizar

Los espíritus de los árboles

Los magníficos pabellones

Envuelto en vides en crecimiento

uno por uno se entrelazan

Oigo el suave rasgueo de un laúd

mezclado con el torrente del chorro de agua

Perdiendo toda conciencia del tiempo

descubriendo un nuevo sublime

De la niebla las entidades toman vuelo

Formando un grupo de color y luz

Cosecha de miel y bellotas para sus parientes

Centelleando, mientras bailan en el viento
