Looking through my hotel window

In a third world country

Yes I’m looking through my hotel window

In a third world country

The sun is shining the skies are blue

And there’s a cool breeze passing through

The plants are green it’s a beautiful scene

Seems like a nice place for human beings

But there’s people on the streets, no shoes on their feet

They gotta hustle to get a little food to eat

I know that things shouldn’t be this way

But what can I do, what can I say?

There are oh so many problems

And I wish that I could solve them

But even with inspiration

Right direction and good intention

No man is an island so won’t somebody give a hand

For the people in the third world

Sí, estoy mirando por la ventana de mi hotel

El sol está brillando los cielos son azules

Y hay una brisa fresca pasando

Las plantas son verdes, es una hermosa escena.

Parece un lugar agradable para los seres humanos.

Pero hay gente en las calles, sin zapatos en sus pies

Tienen que darse prisa para conseguir un poco de comida para comer

Sé que las cosas no deberían ser así

Pero, ¿qué puedo hacer, qué puedo decir?

Hay tantos problemas

Y me gustaría poder resolverlos

Pero incluso con la inspiración

Dirección correcta y buena intención.

Ningún hombre es una isla, así que nadie le dará una mano

Para la gente del tercer mundo

Hay gente en las calles, sin zapatos en sus pies

Tienen que darse prisa para conseguir un poco de comida para comer

Sé que las cosas no deberían ser así

Pero, ¿qué puedo hacer? ¿Qué puedo decir?
