Oh, London in the spring\nMakes me feel so lucky I’m alive\nI’ve got love to give\nI’ve got my whole life to live\nWalking through the park\nSunshine pours like honey\nThrough the trees\nI believe I’m coming home\nWell, some people tell me\nI’ve better things to do\nAnd more productive ways that\nI could spend my time\nBut I’m not sure I agree\nIt often seems to me we spend our lives\nTalking foolish and running blind\nAnd we forget how to enjoy the simple things\nLike walking through London in the spring\nWhoa, London in the spring\nSee St. Paul’s cathedral\nLike a man of high society\nCalmly sittin' quietly\nAnd you watch the river Thames\nWeaving like a needle\nThrough the town\nAll the way down to the sea\nWell, some people tell me\nThe best is far behind us\nIt’s hopeless to be hopeful any more\nBut I’m not sure I agree\nI’m hoping love will find us\nAnd gently guide our vessels to the shore\nWhere there’ll be no need for beggars or kings\nAll equal to share London in the spring
