And everybody would tell me to be safe and have these backup plans and shit

what do you think I should do?»

They would usually send me off by not telling me to take a risk,

but telling me to be safe

And being safe has never gotten me to where I am now

It’s always held me back, uh, so now when people offer up their opinion,

it’s more like, «Which car should I drive?

Which Rolex should I wear?»

Because, it’s really just laughing in the face of that, um, of that mentality

It’s more like, «Ayy, I know what I’m doing, this is the vision,

and this is when I’m putting it out»

You can’t ask people their opinion on your vision because only you know your

vision and only you can show them that

So, uh, this song is like my graduation in a sense
