Ever been on a drive?

Inside in your ride

And your looking through the glass, see a car on the side

The engine’s broken and the car is smoking

And the dude is shaking cause the heat is baking

Or this cat’s gotta flat, and the spare’s all whack

No jack in the back, and no clue where he’s at

There ain’t no real rush, but you roll right by

Not even asking the guy if he needs a supply

He might be alright, and to pass ain’t a sin

But within you feel bad the state that he’s in

How hard would it been, just to ask?

you ok?

That might be the deed that you need to succeed

That might be the deed that will so please Allah

That your forgiven the sinning you did when you was living

It’s a small little thing, that can cling and just ring

And will bring the blessing from Allah Who’s the King

We pass on the deeds cause they seem all small

But it might be the deed that’s the best of them all

Mad when see all the passes I took

On these small little deeds I just overlook

I just can’t believe

Small little deeds that I overlook, can you see?

Little deeds that I overlook, and you read

I read about it in my holy book, it says

Small deeds never overlook

Picking up trash on the path in a flash

Taking glass from the grass, as you pass to your class

A smile goes a mile and is sure worthwhile

When a brother’s hostile, and has been for awhile

Put a dollar every day in the sadaqah

It may be small but you do it for the baraka

I know you’re saving for the Polo and the Nautica

A poor student but you do it just to please Allah

Things like praying for an ailing brother, under the weather

Obeying yo your lovely mother, it’s for the better

Stay and help your baby brother, put on a sweater

Even saying good to one another when you’re together

Advice to another sister about a mister

Your wife always go and kiss her, tell her you miss her

At night do quiet dikhr, and pray the witr

Invite a guy who wants to bicker, to share a snicker

Grand plans expand in our small little hands

But we overlook demands that just seem like strands

We get jammed on exams, cause we skip the small things

Small baby deeds come, bring the blessings!

¿Alguna vez has estado conduciendo?

Dentro de tu viaje

Y estás mirando a través del vidrio, ves un auto al costado

El motor está roto y el coche está echando humo.

Y el tipo está temblando porque el calor está ardiendo

O este gato tiene que pincharse, y el repuesto está todo loco

Sin gato en la parte de atrás, y sin idea de dónde está

No hay prisa real, pero pasas por ahí

Ni siquiera preguntarle al chico si necesita un suministro

Él podría estar bien, y pasar no es un pecado

Pero dentro de ti se siente mal el estado en el que está

¿Qué tan difícil sería solo preguntar?

¿estas bien?

Esa podría ser la acción que necesitas para tener éxito

Ese podría ser el acto que tanto complacerá a Allah

Que te perdone el pecado que cometiste cuando vivías

Es una pequeña cosa pequeña, que puede aferrarse y simplemente sonar

Y traerá la bendición de Allah, Quien es el Rey

Transmitimos las escrituras porque parecen pequeñas

Pero podría ser el hecho el mejor de todos

Loco cuando veo todos los pases que tomé

En estos pequeños actos que paso por alto

simplemente no puedo creer

Pequeñas acciones que paso por alto, y tú lees

Lo leí en mi libro sagrado, dice

Las pequeñas acciones nunca pasan por alto

Recogiendo basura en el camino en un instante

Tomando un vaso de la hierba, mientras pasas a tu clase

Una sonrisa vale una milla y seguro que vale la pena

Cuando un hermano es hostil y lo ha sido por un tiempo

Pon un dólar todos los días en la sadaqah

Puede ser pequeño pero lo haces por el baraka

Sé que estás ahorrando para el Polo y la Náutica

Un estudiante pobre, pero lo haces solo para complacer a Allah.

Cosas como orar por un hermano enfermo, bajo el clima

Obedeciendo a tu querida madre, es para mejor

Quédate y ayuda a tu hermanito, ponte un suéter

Incluso decirse bien el uno al otro cuando están juntos

Consejos a otra hermana sobre un señor

Tu esposa siempre va y la besa, dile que la extrañas

Por la noche haz dikhr en silencio, y reza el witr

Invita a un chico que quiera discutir, a compartir una risita

Los grandes planes se expanden en nuestras pequeñas manos

Pero pasamos por alto demandas que solo parecen hilos

Nos atascamos en los exámenes porque nos saltamos las cosas pequeñas

¡Vengan pequeñas obras de bebé, traigan las bendiciones!
