One thing I desire of the Lord,

and that I may seek after,

that I may dwell in the house

of the Lord forever.

And to inquire in His temple,

in time of trouble He hides me.

(In the sacrifice of the temple).

He shall hide me,

He shall set me high upon the rock.

And now my head shall be lifted above

and enemies all around me,

and therefore I offer sacrifice to the Lord forever.

One thing that I desire,

Una cosa deseo del Señor,

y para que pueda buscar,

para que yo habite en la casa

del Señor para siempre.

y para inquirir en su templo,

en tiempo de angustia me esconde.
