Early morning, rising with the sun

Resting where the sky meets the earth

Feeling the fired rays of sunlight reach into my soul

Where they reinstate the sense of my own self-worth

If you’re not good, you’re bad — that’s far too black and white

Behold the glorious sun in all it’s radiance bright

It too at times is obscured by the thick blue veil of night

Still the moon and all the stars continue to reflect its light

And so it is that we are good

Though we do not always do as we should

We loose track of right and wrong

And we’re not always standing strong

But still, don’t you want to believe

In things that eyes do not perceive

Like our light shining from within

That in a battle with our darkness can win

The gates of heaven open up before me

As my heart is given wings and flies

Leaving all pretense behind, everything is crystal clear

Even the worry of uncertainty subsides

They say the time will come for us to be reborn

Into the newness of unity that has been torn

Into duality, into: «It's us against them.»

It’s from that place of fear that all our conflicts stem

We’re almost there, but not yet, still — the stage is set

For the play we may enact according to our contract

That we made both and I with everybody in our home up high

To awaken from our deep and long undisturbed though hardly peaceful sleep

If to look is to know the grace which you bestow

Upon those that you would raise

Into a kind and loving gaze

Then to look is to see everyone as good as they can be

Descansando donde el cielo se encuentra con la tierra

Sintiendo los rayos encendidos de la luz del sol llegar a mi alma

Donde restablecen el sentido de mi propio valor

Si no eres bueno, eres malo: eso es demasiado blanco y negro

Contempla el glorioso sol en todo su esplendor brillante

A veces también está oscurecido por el espeso velo azul de la noche.

Todavía la luna y todas las estrellas siguen reflejando su luz

Y asi es que estamos bien

Aunque no siempre hacemos lo que deberíamos

Perdemos el rastro de lo correcto y lo incorrecto

Y no siempre nos mantenemos firmes

Pero aún así, ¿no quieres creer?

En cosas que los ojos no perciben

Como nuestra luz brillando desde dentro

Que en una batalla con nuestra oscuridad puede ganar

Las puertas del cielo se abren ante mí

Como mi corazón tiene alas y vuela

Dejando atrás todas las pretensiones, todo es claro como el cristal

Incluso la preocupación por la incertidumbre desaparece

Dicen que llegará el momento de renacer

En la novedad de la unidad que ha sido desgarrada

Hacia la dualidad, hacia: «Somos nosotros contra ellos».

Es de ese lugar de miedo de donde provienen todos nuestros conflictos.

Ya casi llegamos, pero todavía no, aún — el escenario está listo

Para la obra que podemos representar de acuerdo con nuestro contrato

Que hicimos los dos y yo con todos en nuestra casa en lo alto

Despertar de nuestro profundo y largo sueño tranquilo aunque apenas pacífico.

Si mirar es conocer la gracia que concedes

Sobre aquellos que levantarías

En una mirada amable y amorosa

Entonces, mirar es ver a todos tan bien como pueden ser.
