To dream the impossible dream.

To fight the unbeatable foe.

To bare with unbareable sorrow.

To run where the brave dare not go.

To right unrightable wrong.

To love being chaste from afar.

To try when your arms too weary.

To reach the unreachable star.

This is my quest!

To follow that star…

No matter how hopeless… no matter how far!

To fight for the right, without question or cause,

To be willing to march into hell for whatever the cause.

And by then, if I’d only be true to this glorious quest.

Then my heart will be peaceful and calm when I’m laid to my rest.

And the world will be better for this.

That one man, old and covered with scars, strove with his last ounce of courage,

To reach the unreachable star.

Soñar el sueño imposible.

Para luchar contra el enemigo imbatible.

Para desnudar con un dolor insoportable.

Correr donde los valientes no osan ir.

Para corregir un error incorregible.

Amar ser casto desde lejos.

Para probar cuando tus brazos están demasiado cansados.

Para alcanzar la estrella inalcanzable.

¡Esta es mi búsqueda!

Para seguir esa estrella...

No importa lo desesperado... ¡no importa lo lejos!

Para luchar por el derecho, sin duda ni causa,

Estar dispuesto a marchar al infierno por cualquier causa.

Y para entonces, si solo fuera fiel a esta gloriosa búsqueda.

Entonces mi corazón estará en paz y en calma cuando esté en mi descanso.

Y el mundo será mejor gracias a esto.

Ese hombre, viejo y cubierto de cicatrices, se esforzó con su último gramo de coraje,

Para alcanzar la estrella inalcanzable.
