Fading Earth - Leaves' Eyes

I knew so well those eyes

I know so well what they won’t tell

Freeze in the window light

You’ve been too long away

I left you heartsick in the morning just to come again at dark

Scattered poems on the floor is all I left behind

This fading earth

This heavy dark-blue sky around me

Im laying the night awake forsaken and mistaker

Against my life I hold this silver blade in my hand

Who am I to think you’ll wait for me on the other side

My paradise was never here

This hopeless fight amongst the living

I fear that age and death someday brings you to decay

Coloured with the death of man

A hundred years of wait and drain

Sick with hatred sick with pain

Your patience is wearing thin

Why try to be patient with life

Once so promising but yet so vulnerable

This fading earth on the other side

I pray you’ll wait for me on the other side

Conocía tan bien esos ojos

Sé muy bien lo que no dirán

Congelar en la luz de la ventana

has estado demasiado lejos

Te dejé desconsolado en la mañana solo para volver al anochecer

Poemas dispersos en el suelo es todo lo que dejé atrás

Esta tierra que se desvanece

Este pesado cielo azul oscuro a mi alrededor

Estoy pasando la noche despierto, abandonado y equivocado

Contra mi vida sostengo esta hoja de plata en mi mano

¿Quién soy yo para pensar que me esperarás del otro lado?

Mi paraíso nunca estuvo aquí

Esta lucha desesperada entre los vivos

Temo que la edad y la muerte algún día te lleven a la decadencia

Coloreado con la muerte del hombre

Cien años de espera y drenaje

Enfermo de odio enfermo de dolor

Tu paciencia se está agotando

¿Por qué tratar de ser paciente con la vida?

Una vez tan prometedor pero aún así tan vulnerable

Esta tierra que se desvanece en el otro lado

Rezo para que me esperes al otro lado
