I rolled out the bed as the alarm started going off

Rubbed my head with my arm it was the crack of dawn

I’m late fo work and I really just hate my job

I kissed my wife good-bye and then I walk across the lawn

Got in the car out the driveway and I’m riding on the road by the mall

Past the highway that I’m flying on but

It slows to crawl cause some guy was just driving wrong

And I’m getting mad cuz I wonder why it’s going on Get out the way I just scream as I’m driving on I hate my day and this way that it started off

I change lanes and I thought that I was pulling onto

The main lane but just then I saw this green Honda

It straight came next thing it was the window shattered

Felt a great pain my body being bruised and battered

It all changed went black and I knew I had it I coughed blood breathed my last breath that was it What ya gonna do when there’s no time left?

What ya gonna do when ya take ya last step?

What ya gonna do when ya take ya last breath

Out ya chest and find out that there’s life after death?

Next thing I know everything just got real quite

I opened my eyes to my surprise now it’s real silent

I realized I had died now it’s my judgment

I’m standing before the Most High now and all of the sudden

He said to me, «Why should I let you into My heaven?»

I told God, «Well usually I’m a good person.»

He showed my life and all the times now that I was sinning

Every line to every curse to every bad decision

From every lie to every word there was nothing hidden

He showed how Christ died and with my life and that I’d killed Him

He showed me time after time how I’d reject Him

I never cared about the sacrifice God had given

I never cared about my life or the way I lived it And now I’ve died and it’s too late to be forgiven

Guilty of my crime I’m sentenced to eternal prison

It’s dark, I’m alone, I feel my flesh burning

He showed how his son died and with my life and that I’d killed Him

But He showed the time I chose Christ and I didn’t reject Him

He showed the time when I took the love that God had given

He tried to serve thru my life whenever I lived it And now I’ve died but I thank God that I’m forgiven

He wiped the tears from my eyes as I cried and thanked Him

Cuz forever I’m a be with Him just in Heaven

Saqué la cama cuando la alarma empezó a sonar

Me froté la cabeza con el brazo, era el amanecer

Llego tarde al trabajo y realmente odio mi trabajo

Le di un beso de despedida a mi esposa y luego caminé por el césped

Me subí al auto por el camino de entrada y estoy conduciendo por la carretera junto al centro comercial

Más allá de la carretera en la que estoy volando, pero

Es lento para gatear porque un tipo estaba conduciendo mal

Y me estoy enojando porque me pregunto por qué está pasando. Sal de la forma en que solo grito mientras conduzco. Odio mi día y así comenzó.

Cambié de carril y pensé que estaba entrando

El carril principal, pero en ese momento vi este Honda verde

Inmediatamente vino lo siguiente que fue la ventana rota

Sentí un gran dolor mi cuerpo siendo magullado y golpeado

Todo cambió, se volvió negro y supe que lo tenía. Tosí sangre, respiré mi último aliento, eso fue todo. ¿Qué vas a hacer cuando no quede tiempo?

¿Qué vas a hacer cuando des tu último paso?

¿Qué vas a hacer cuando tomes tu último aliento?

¿Sacar el pecho y descubrir que hay vida después de la muerte?

Lo siguiente que sé es que todo se volvió bastante real

Abrí mis ojos a mi sorpresa ahora es muy silencioso

Me di cuenta de que había muerto ahora es mi juicio

Estoy de pie ante el Altísimo ahora y de repente

Él me dijo: «¿Por qué debo dejarte entrar en mi cielo?»

Le dije a Dios: «Bueno, por lo general soy una buena persona».

Mostró mi vida y todas las veces que estaba pecando

Cada línea a cada maldición a cada mala decisión

De cada mentira a cada palabra no había nada escondido

Mostró cómo murió Cristo y con mi vida y que yo lo había matado

Él me mostró una y otra vez cómo lo rechazaría

Nunca me importó el sacrificio que Dios había dado

Nunca me importó mi vida o la forma en que la viví Y ahora he muerto y es demasiado tarde para ser perdonado

Culpable de mi crimen estoy condenado a prisión eterna

Está oscuro, estoy solo, siento que mi carne arde

Me rasco la cabeza y luego bostezo, era el amanecer

Estoy orando y agradeciendo a Dios que conseguí mi trabajo.

Pero no estoy enojado, solo me pregunto por qué está pasando. Uso el tiempo para orar por mi familia ahora y por mi mamá.

Estoy agradeciendo a Dios por la forma en que mi día había comenzado.

Mostró el tiempo en que tomé el amor que Dios me había dado

Trató de servir a través de mi vida cada vez que lo viví Y ahora he muerto, pero gracias a Dios que estoy perdonado

Secó las lágrimas de mis ojos mientras yo lloraba y le agradecía

Porque para siempre estaré con Él en el cielo
