I wrestle with a force in the nighttime

I felt like I was slipping out my right mind

An image that I couldn’t seem to wipe out

He’s waiting every time I turn the lights out

Constantly attacking while I’m sleeping and he won’t rest

I’m paralyzed, trapped inside my own flesh

Tryna think of something I can do to make him slow down

I’m screaming but my mouth is making no sound

Maybe if I calm down, I can try to break free

I know it’s over if I let him take me

Suspended animation and I couldn’t even stand up

My wrists stuck together like I’m handcuffed

Begging for the morning, it’s the only time that I’m free

His presence automatically would blind me

Panicking and nervous, got me shaking and it’s no lie

And the crazy part is I don’t even know why

I’m afraid to go to sleep with forces hanging over me

I’m swinging ‘bows and wrestling while in my mind I’m questioning why

Who is this guy?

Coming every night?

Making me fight?

If I don’t make it out of this, I will sink

I couldn’t say a word but I could still blink

Had to find a reason to get out of his control soon

A dark shadow covered up the whole room

Then it flew down from the ceiling and the bed dropped

It put me in a full nelson headlock

Tried to fight it back but I didn’t last too long

I couldn’t get away ‘cause it was too strong

Then he lifted me and threw me up against a stone wall

I’m wishin' I could yell or make a phone call

Tryna think it out and tryin' not to make a wrong move

That’s when I heard a deep voice say, «I own you»

Couldn’t deal with the punishment I was absorbing, the external and internal

torment

Wonder if I’ll ever make it back to a calm state

‘cause it’s been happenin' every night for ‘bout a month straight

I’m afraid to go to sleep with forces hanging over me

The next night, I was tryna clear my mind out

I came up with an idea to find out what was terrorizing me and causing all

these head wounds

I put a video recorder in my bedroom

Felt myself gettin' sleepy so I took my clothes off

Then I hit record right before I dozed off

Fought through the night again 'til I felt the sunrise

But this time I’ma see him with my own eyes

I was real anxious when I woke up the next day

I picked up the recorder and I pressed play

Couldn’t wait to see the entity when it rose up

I watched about an hour then it showed up

Now I get to finally see who could this brother be

He picked the pillow up and tried to smother me

Fought my way out and took a breath for recovery

He looked in the camera, that’s when I saw it was another me

All of these nights I been fighting in this hell-house

It was me against me tryna take myself out

Why was this evil clone here?

What’s he gonna do?

Then a voice in my head said, «The evil one is you

I’m the righteous side of you, you chose to go a lower route

So I come every night to fight your wickedness and choke it out

If you want me to unlock the greatness, I’d be glad to

I just need you to submit and let me kill the bad you»

Lucho con una fuerza en la noche

Sentí que me estaba escapando de mi sano juicio

Una imagen que parecía que no podía borrar

Está esperando cada vez que apago las luces

Me ataca constantemente mientras duermo y no descansa.

Estoy paralizado, atrapado dentro de mi propia carne

Trato de pensar en algo que pueda hacer para que disminuya la velocidad.

Sé que se acabó si dejo que me lleve

Animación suspendida y no podía ni levantarme

Mis muñecas pegadas como si estuviera esposado

Rogando por la mañana, es la única vez que estoy libre

Su presencia automáticamente me cegaría.

En pánico y nervioso, me hizo temblar y no es mentira

Y la parte loca es que ni siquiera sé por qué

Tengo miedo de irme a dormir con fuerzas que se ciernen sobre mí.

Estoy balanceando arcos y luchando mientras en mi mente me pregunto por qué

¿Quién es este chico?

¿Vienes todas las noches?

¿Haciéndome pelear?

Si no salgo de esta, me hundiré

No pude decir una palabra, pero aún podía parpadear

Tuvo que encontrar una razón para salirse de su control pronto

Una sombra oscura cubrió toda la habitación

Luego voló desde el techo y la cama se cayó.

Me puso en una llave de cabeza nelson completa

Traté de luchar pero no duré mucho

No pude escapar porque era demasiado fuerte

Luego me levantó y me arrojó contra un muro de piedra.

Trata de pensarlo e intenta no hacer un movimiento equivocado

La noche siguiente, estaba tratando de despejar mi mente

Se me ocurrió una idea para descubrir qué me aterrorizaba y causaba todo

estas heridas en la cabeza

Puse una grabadora de video en mi dormitorio

Sentí que me estaba dando sueño, así que me quité la ropa

Entonces pulsé el récord justo antes de quedarme dormido

Luché toda la noche de nuevo hasta que sentí el amanecer

Pero esta vez lo veré con mis propios ojos

Estaba muy ansiosa cuando me desperté al día siguiente

Cogí la grabadora y pulsé play

No podía esperar para ver la entidad cuando se levantara

Vi alrededor de una hora y luego apareció

Ahora puedo ver finalmente quién podría ser este hermano

Cogió la almohada y trató de asfixiarme.

Luché para salir y tomé un respiro para recuperarme

Miró a la cámara, ahí fue cuando vi que era otro yo.

Todas estas noches he estado peleando en esta casa infernal

Fui yo contra mí tratando de sacarme

¿Qué va a hacer?

Entonces una voz en mi cabeza dijo: «El maligno eres tú

Soy tu lado justo, elegiste ir por una ruta más baja
