The other night I’m walking home

When I’m walking home I’m always that way

What a home I got

The kitchen is delightful, the living room is grand,

and the bathroom is out of this world.

Which makes it a little bit inconvenient.

When I opened up my door I got the grandest suprise

All my friends were there and they began to harmonize

Curb your enthusiasm, this isn’t my birthday.

No, but it’s the birthday of someone near and dear to me

It’s my Nose’s Birthday not mine

And I’m proud to say the snoz is doin' fine

My nose was born upon this day in eighteen ninety three

Exactly two weeks later the stork delivered me

Was the first time that a nose outweighed the child

When I was born my dad took one look at my snoz and said:

Stork, take that back!

Just because our country’s emblem is an eagle

that don’t mean we have to raise one.

But in spite of my dad

the snoz and I are closer than David and Pretentious.

Not even a mustache has ever come between us

I tried to raise a mustache once and what happened?

It wouldn’t grow in the shade

it’s sabotage

But I’m as happy as I can be

cuz' it’s my nose’s golden anaversary.

Looking back over the years

The snoz and I weathered many a storm.

I remember years ago my first train ride

I was on a lower birth when I decided to call the porter

So I stuck my nose out through the curtin and what happened?

The porter came by, grabbed my snoz, and before I could pull it back in

He brused it, shined it, polished, and said:

Now where’s the other shoe?

A big tear started to roll down my nose

and it’s a brave tear that will start on a trip like that

I felt sorry for the snoz

but I’m proud of 'em

Why?

I’ll tell ya:

The snoz was never unreasonable

he’d never asked for no french rolled handkerchiefs,

he didn’t need no french rolled handkerchiefs

a whipe of the cuff was enough.

Yes.

And I’ll never forget the time the snoz saved my life.

I was one of those sultry weekends at the beach

I’m in the water swimming the Australian crawl

when I find myself face to face with a vicious swordfish

he was about to attack, but after taking a second look at me the sordfish said:

«I give up, you’re equiped with a superior weapon.»

So ya see

I’m as happy as I can be

La cocina es una delicia, la sala de estar es grandiosa,

y el baño está fuera de este mundo.

Lo que lo hace un poco inconveniente.

Cuando abrí la puerta me llevé la mayor sorpresa

Todos mis amigos estaban ahí y empezaron a armonizar

Controla tu entusiasmo, este no es mi cumpleaños.

No, pero es el cumpleaños de alguien cercano y querido para mí.

Es el cumpleaños de mi nariz, no el mío.

Y estoy orgulloso de decir que el snoz está bien

Mi nariz nació tal día como hoy en mil ochocientos noventa y tres

Exactamente dos semanas después, la cigüeña me entregó

Era la primera vez que una nariz pesaba más que el niño

Cuando nací, mi papá echó un vistazo a mi snoz y dijo:

¡Cigüeña, retira eso!

Que el emblema de nuestro país sea un águila

eso no significa que tengamos que criar uno.

Pero a pesar de mi papá

el snoz y yo somos más cercanos que David y Pretentious.

Ni siquiera un bigote se ha interpuesto entre nosotros

Intenté levantarme un bigote una vez y ¿qué pasó?

No crecería a la sombra

Pero soy tan feliz como puedo ser

porque es el anaversario de oro de mi nariz.

Mirando hacia atrás a lo largo de los años

El snoz y yo resistimos muchas tormentas.

Recuerdo hace años mi primer viaje en tren

Estaba en un nacimiento inferior cuando decidí llamar al portero

Así que saqué la nariz por la cortina y ¿qué pasó?

El portero pasó, agarró mi snoz, y antes de que pudiera volver a meterlo

Lo pulió, lo lustró, lo pulió y dijo:

Ahora, ¿dónde está el otro zapato?

Una gran lágrima comenzó a rodar por mi nariz

y es una lágrima valiente que empezará en un viaje así

Lo siento por el snoz

pero estoy orgulloso de ellos

¿Por qué?

Te diré:

El snoz nunca fue irrazonable

nunca había pedido pañuelos enrollados a la francesa,

no necesitaba pañuelos enrollados en francés

bastó un latigazo en el puño.

Sí.

Y nunca olvidaré la vez que el snoz me salvó la vida.

Fui uno de esos fines de semana sensuales en la playa

Estoy en el agua nadando el rastreo australiano

cuando me encuentro cara a cara con un vicioso pez espada

estuvo a punto de atacar, pero después de mirarme por segunda vez, el pez sordo dijo:

«Me rindo, estás equipado con un arma superior».

Así que ya ves

Soy tan feliz como puedo ser

porque es el aniversario de oro de mi nariz,
