I woke up and on the wall I saw light

It looked just like a lake

But it scared me

I don’t know why

And as I stared

I saw things

And it changed me

But something wasn’t right

With the light

Was I still dreaming?

So I got up and I walked over to this lake

And I saw people on the other side

It wasn’t hard to tell

They didn’t look all that well

So I called out ‘cause I thought I could help

But no one had eyes

So they couldn’t see

That no one had ears

So they couldn’t hear me

Then I felt the earth quake

As a voice from the lake

Spoke these words and it instantly calmed me

«I hear you call

I hear them all.»

Then it said:

«Life, she is a mystery

And there’s more to all of this that she ain’t telling me

So tonight it’s like a lake

Sit so still and pretty, makes your heart ache

But these days don’t it all just make your heart ache?»

Desperté y en la pared vi luz

Parecía un lago

pero me asustó

no sé por qué

Y mientras miraba

vi cosas

Y me cambió

Pero algo no estaba bien

con la luz

¿Todavía estaba soñando?

Así que me levanté y caminé hacia este lago

Y vi gente del otro lado

No fue difícil de decir

No se veían tan bien

Así que llamé porque pensé que podría ayudar

Pero nadie tenía ojos

Para que no pudieran ver

Que nadie tenia oídos

Para que no pudieran oírme

Entonces sentí temblar la tierra

Como una voz del lago

Dije estas palabras y al instante me calmó

«Te escucho llamar

Los escucho todos.»

Entonces dijo:

«La vida, ella es un misterio

Y hay más en todo esto que ella no me está diciendo

Así que esta noche es como un lago

Siéntate tan quieto y bonito, hace que te duela el corazón

Pero en estos días, ¿no te hace doler el corazón?»
