Putting yourself first isn’t always selfish

It’s beneficial for both parties

Don’t suffer just for her wish

You know you’re not at ease

Attempt to make everything ok

But these things just can’t be forced

You think you’re doing the right thing

Even though you feel deep remorse

Trying to protect the mantelpiece

But you’re the one doing the damage

Times only causing casualties

When will you finish what you started

It’s so much easier to let it carry on

You’re causing pain and fake happiness for some

Hurry up and just end it, this ain’t no fun

And be the better one

In these times you have to be strong

Don’t avoid the inevitable

The pain caused will soon be gone

You gotta think in the long term

Put on your mask every morning

This can’t be good for your mental health

The cloud just keeps on pouring

Why are you doing this to yourself

If you’re not the primary character in your own story

Then something has gone wrong

Don’t let anybody take full control

You are your own person

No sufras solo por su deseo

Pero estas cosas simplemente no pueden ser forzadas

En estos tiempos hay que ser fuerte

No evites lo inevitable

El dolor causado pronto se irá

Tienes que pensar a largo plazo

Ponte la mascarilla todas las mañanas

Esto no puede ser bueno para tu salud mental

La nube sigue cayendo

¿Por qué te haces esto a ti mismo?

Si no eres el personaje principal de tu propia historia

Entonces algo salió mal

No dejes que nadie tome el control total
