Nothing Box - Glass Hammer

Clouds float suspended in my nothing box

Six smooth sides reflecting endlessly out to infinity

Life is calm and so quiet here in my nothing box

The walls are thick and warm and they hold me in and shelter me

Nothing gets to me

Light can’t escape and neither do my thoughts

They just bounce around

They don’t make any sound

They sink down to the bottom of the sea

I never get lonely here in my nothing box

Though I sometimes feel there could be so much more then it just slips away

I drift out in the emptiness and I lose myself

Hearing my own breathing my own heartbeat race there’s no way out and I don’t

care

No I don’t care

There’s no world out there…

Until I think of you

Then I know what I should do

But it’s so hard to leave

This box has a key

But it can’t work from inside

Thought I could leave when I wanted to

It all depends on you

When I close my eyes

That is when I see your face

I can see you speaking though the words fall away

Everything is fading now

Was it ever real

My memories of the outside

Wash away like rain

I reach out to you

Time has no meaning in my nothing box

I could stay forever as the world moves on

I don’t eat

I don’t sleep

I don’t touch

I can’t feel anything

Until I hear your voice and I come back to you

Las nubes flotan suspendidas en mi caja de nada

Seis lados lisos que se reflejan infinitamente hasta el infinito

La vida es tranquila y tan tranquila aquí en mi caja de nada

Las paredes son gruesas y cálidas y me sostienen y me protegen

nada me afecta

La luz no puede escapar y mis pensamientos tampoco

Simplemente rebotan

no hacen ningun sonido

Se hunden hasta el fondo del mar

Nunca me siento solo aquí en mi caja de nada

Aunque a veces siento que podría haber mucho más de lo que simplemente se escapa

Me dejo llevar por el vacío y me pierdo

Escuchar mi propia respiración mis propios latidos acelerados no hay salida y no

cuidado

No, no me importa

No hay mundo ahí fuera...

Hasta que pienso en ti

Entonces sé lo que debo hacer

Pero es tan difícil dejar

Esta caja tiene una llave

Pero no puede funcionar desde adentro

Pensé que podría irme cuando quisiera

Todo depende de ti

Cuando cierro los ojos

Ahí es cuando veo tu cara

Puedo verte hablando aunque las palabras se desvanecen

Todo se está desvaneciendo ahora

¿Fue alguna vez real?
