Life's Little Moments - George Carlin

Have you ever been in a serious social situation, when you suddenly realize you have to pull the

underwear out of the crack in your ass.

"You take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife?"

"Huh? Who her? Oh, hell yeah."

Well, it's one life's little moments, isn't it?

It's one of those little

moments you have to deal with at the time.

You've got to get in there and clear that thing out.

You've got to rescue your underwear.

There's a letter in your mailbox.

That's right.

You ever been at a really loud party.

I mean a good loud party, where the music is playing too

loud, and everybody is talking too loudly, and in order to be heard even by the person standing

right next to you, you've got to be screaming at the top of you lungs.

But every now and then at a party, it seems as though everyone shuts up at the same time...and only you voice...can be

heard.

"Right, I know. I know. Well, what I'm going to do, I'm gonna have my testicles laminated."

Life's little moments.

You ever been talking to someone and you laugh through your nose and blow a snot on your

shirt.

And you have to just kind of keep talking you know.

And make believe it's part of the

design.

Works all right if your wearing a Hawaiian shirt, but otherwise they're gonna notice.

"Ed,

you got a big snot on your shirt!" Some guys are really cruel you know? And some of these

things are not even you fault.

These little things that happen, you didn't cause the situation.

A lot

of times your the victim.

You walk into some situation and suddenly your the one who's taking

all the heat.

Not your fault.

Give you an example of the kind of thing I mean.

Did you ever meet

somebody, and you go to shake the guy's hand.

Then you suddenly realize, he doesn't have a

complete hand.

And you got to make believe it feels great.

Right?

You can't go aaaaaaahhhhhh

waaaaaaahhhhhhh waaaaaahhhhhhh.

You can't do that.

It's not even an option.

You've got to

hang in there and say, "Hi. Hey swell hand. Give me three! (boooomp boooomp boooomp

boooomp boomp boomp boooomp) High three!

Yo!

(boomp) Not your fault.

You didn't cause

that.

You weren't even there when it happened to the guy.

¿Alguna vez has estado en una situación social seria, cuando de repente te das cuenta de que tienes que tirar del

ropa interior fuera de la grieta en el culo.

Bueno, son los pequeños momentos de una vida, ¿no?

es uno de esos pequeños

Tienes que entrar ahí y limpiar esa cosa.

Tienes que rescatar tu ropa interior.

Hay una carta en tu buzón.

Así es.

Has estado alguna vez en una fiesta muy ruidosa.

Me refiero a una buena fiesta ruidosa, donde la música también suena.

alto, y todo el mundo está hablando demasiado alto, y para ser escuchado incluso por la persona que está de pie

Justo a tu lado, tienes que estar gritando a todo pulmón.

Pero de vez en cuando en una fiesta, parece que todos se callan al mismo tiempo... y solo tu voz... puede ser

escuchó.

"Bien, lo sé. Lo sé. Bueno, lo que voy a hacer, voy a hacer que me laminen los testículos".

Los pequeños momentos de la vida.

¿Alguna vez has estado hablando con alguien y te ríes por la nariz y te soplas un moco?

camisa.

Y tienes que seguir hablando, ¿sabes?

Y hacer creer que es parte de la

diseño.

Funciona bien si llevas una camisa hawaiana, pero de lo contrario se darán cuenta.

"ed,

¡Tienes un gran moco en tu camisa!" Algunos tipos son realmente crueles, ¿sabes? Y algunos de estos

las cosas ni siquiera son tu culpa.

Estas pequeñas cosas que pasan, tú no causaste la situación.

Un monton

de veces eres la víctima.

Entras en alguna situación y de repente eres el que está tomando

todo el calor

No es tu culpa.

Darle un ejemplo del tipo de cosa que quiero decir.

¿Alguna vez conociste

alguien, y vas a darle la mano al tipo.

Entonces, de repente te das cuenta de que no tiene

mano completa.

Y tienes que fingir que se siente genial.

¿Derecha?

No te puedes ir aaaaaaahhhhhh

waaaaaahhhhhhh waaaaaahhhhhhh.

No puedes hacer eso.

Ni siquiera es una opción.

Tienes que

aguanta ahí y di: "Hola. Oye mano hinchada. ¡Dame tres! (boooomp boooomp boooomp

boooomp boomp boomp boooomp) Choca los tres!

¡Yo!

(boom) No es tu culpa.

tu no causaste

ese.

Ni siquiera estabas ahí cuando le pasó al tipo.
