Sometimes it seems like it can only be difficult

Odd moments of peace may disguise the impending doom

But the dissent rages, if not in one then in another

And all sense of hope is culled

Searching for utopia, only to find stagnation and disappointment

The ego bloodied and torn, yet grasping still

Desperate to find the one reason so great

It might justify this unending time of unrest

All that you are is a parasite

A leech that would drain the last drop

And offer only arrogance and silent indignation in return

I am done with days skulking in the blindness of false bliss

Dead is the will to believe

Crushed is the hope, buried in the blackest seas

Memories are stark, damaged, bleak

Aghast with misery

Destined for failure, future is only the betrayer of hope

No sustenance on which it could feed

This vessel lay empty now, rotting in dereliction

Frozen in time, as the last fragment falls to the earth

Like some deathly tear

A veces parece que solo puede ser difícil

Extraños momentos de paz pueden disfrazar la muerte inminente

Pero la disidencia ruge, si no en uno, entonces en otro

Y todo sentido de esperanza es sacrificado

Buscando la utopía, solo para encontrar estancamiento y decepción

El ego ensangrentado y desgarrado, pero todavía aferrado

Desesperado por encontrar la única razón tan grande

Podría justificar este interminable tiempo de disturbios

Todo lo que eres es un parásito

Una sanguijuela que drenaría hasta la última gota

Y ofrecer solo arrogancia e indignación silenciosa a cambio.

Estoy harto de días acechando en la ceguera de la falsa felicidad

Muerta es la voluntad de creer

Aplastada es la esperanza, enterrada en los mares más negros

Los recuerdos son rígidos, dañados, sombríos

Horrorizado con la miseria

Destinado al fracaso, el futuro es solo el traidor de la esperanza

Sin sustento del que pudiera alimentarse

Este recipiente yacía vacío ahora, pudriéndose en abandono

Congelado en el tiempo, mientras el último fragmento cae a la tierra

Como una lágrima mortal
