Up with the clouds, floating into the ether

Light in your eyes, light as a falling feather

Dreaming of love in a fantasy city

Now lost in the blinding glare of a sun

Into the stars and inside the galaxies

A compass of fire outlining palaces

A piece of the sky, immune to reality

Cast away, adrift in the dark

In fathomless lands, steering towards

The part of the heavens that gleam like swords

The clashing is loud the thunder is crushing the

Sounds that we make colliding together

Deep in the heart the darkness is shattering

Sparkling stones, the deep blue is scattering

Exploding inside, shards fall fluttering

Grinding the broken mirror to dust

Ascending the ladder that hangs from the Gods

Safe from the snapping jaws of the dogs

That growl from beneath, the black hounds that bite

Gnawing at heels with dripping mouths

Escape from the rubble, the wreckage below

To the pillars of light that softly glow

From the crumbling towers, to the waning moon

The harbour shimmers, ships on fire!

Everything pales

Nothing’s the same

Everything’s pale

Everything’s changed

I’ve seen inside the terrors and now I can’t go back

I’ve seen the older terrors, will you come with me?

Una brújula de fuego delineando palacios

Un trozo de cielo, inmune a la realidad

Abandonado, a la deriva en la oscuridad

En tierras insondables, rumbo hacia

La parte de los cielos que brillan como espadas

El choque es fuerte, el trueno está aplastando el

Sonidos que hacemos al chocar juntos

En lo profundo del corazón, la oscuridad se está rompiendo

Piedras brillantes, el azul profundo se está dispersando

Explotando en el interior, los fragmentos caen revoloteando

Moliendo el espejo roto en polvo

Ascendiendo la escalera que cuelga de los Dioses

A salvo de las mordazas de los perros

Ese gruñido desde abajo, los sabuesos negros que muerden

Mordiendo los talones con la boca goteando

Escapar de los escombros, los restos de abajo

A los pilares de luz que brillan suavemente

Desde las torres que se desmoronan hasta la luna menguante

¡El puerto brilla, barcos en llamas!

todo palidece

Nada es lo mismo

todo esta pálido

Todo ha cambiado

He visto dentro de los terrores y ahora no puedo volver
