There’s a new star in heaven tonight the brightest of them all up there

As we gaze at the sky we wonder why that the Lord took our baby so fair

For he was as sweet as the rose his eyes was so big bright and blue

And it made me so glad they said he favors his dad

And my wife that he’s the image of you

Now you should see our baby’s book it’s pink and bordered with gold

Though it’s not complete but on the first sheet our darling’s life story is told

It tells of the days that he came to add more joy to our home

After seven short weeks our Master did speak and now Rodger Dale has gone

But I know that he’s happy up there I can vision each action and look

Hay una nueva estrella en el cielo esta noche, la más brillante de todas allá arriba

Mientras miramos al cielo, nos preguntamos por qué el Señor tomó a nuestro bebé tan hermoso.

Porque él era tan dulce como la rosa sus ojos eran tan grandes, brillantes y azules

Aunque no está completo, en la primera hoja se cuenta la historia de vida de nuestra querida

Habla de los días que vino a añadir más alegría a nuestro hogar.

Después de siete cortas semanas, nuestro Maestro habló y ahora Rodger Dale se ha ido.

Pero sé que está feliz allí arriba. Puedo visualizar cada acción y mirar.
