Tracing the Path of Blood - Ephel Duath

I dig the soil with my bare hands

I open circular wounds

Craters of worms and broken nails

I dig off those marble columns

Extensions of my roots

Will fit in there

I look them deep down

Till I feel them pulsing within

From each crack that opens up

Warm dark blood rivers out

I get my chest soaked in

Summoning rebirth

I chain myself to this primordial mud

My fingers like tentacles

Spread to the light above

Eyes are sealed

In beloved silence my mind wonders

Dragging lies and slimy shadows with each step

When the core is reached

The bleeding stops

I now stand still like a centenary tree

Burnt inside

Burning all that lies around

And when daily demons finally shrink in

A vortex of gold leaves erupts in return

I inhale dozens of them

Choking from this grace

I puke black bile

Drawing mandalas in the thick air

My eyes take fire

Neck cracks back

Forcing my face to the clouds

It rains

My orbits are now steaming holes

Getting slowly filled with peace

Layers and layers of shining waves

Find their way to my heart

Ice meeting fire lights up the mind

Till blackness is put at ease

And when distortion fades

Flames get rest

Tracing the path of blood

I align a step after another

And I’ll keep the rhythm till the source is reached

My inside is out

Floating

The outside is in

Digging

Tuned with soil and clouds

I’m one with myself again

Cavo la tierra con mis manos desnudas

Abro heridas circulares

Cráteres de gusanos y uñas rotas

Saco esas columnas de mármol

Extensiones de mis raíces

Encajará allí

los miro en el fondo

Hasta que los siento latiendo dentro

De cada grieta que se abre

Ríos cálidos de sangre oscura salen

tengo mi pecho empapado

Renacimiento de invocación

Me encadeno a este barro primordial

Mis dedos como tentáculos

Propagación a la luz de arriba

Los ojos están sellados

En el amado silencio mi mente se pregunta

Arrastrando mentiras y sombras viscosas a cada paso

Cuando se alcanza el núcleo

El sangrado se detiene

Ahora me quedo quieto como un árbol centenario

quemado por dentro

Quemando todo lo que hay alrededor

Y cuando los demonios diarios finalmente se encogen

Un vórtice de hojas de oro estalla a cambio

Inhalo docenas de ellos

Ahogado por esta gracia

vomito bilis negra

Dibujando mandalas en el aire denso

Mis ojos toman fuego

El cuello cruje hacia atrás

Obligando mi cara a las nubes

Llueve

Mis órbitas ahora son agujeros humeantes

Llenándose lentamente de paz

Capas y capas de ondas brillantes

Encuentra su camino a mi corazón

El fuego que se encuentra con el hielo ilumina la mente

Hasta que la negrura se calme

Y cuando la distorsión se desvanece

Las llamas descansan

Trazando el camino de la sangre

Alineo un paso tras otro

Y mantendré el ritmo hasta que se alcance la fuente

Mi interior está fuera

Flotante

El exterior está dentro

Excavación

Sintonizado con el suelo y las nubes

Soy uno conmigo mismo otra vez
