Funeral - Denial of God

Mourners have gathered

For their last farewell

Amidst the grey stones

In the garden of the dead

The rain is falling still

The church bell tolls its knell

All cloaked in black with tears in eyes

The mourning ones have met

A man in black and violet

Latin scriptures, earth to earth

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust

And heavenly rebirth

Flowers grace the coffin black

Where the cold dead body lies

That slowly now is lowered

Into the cold earth

Funeral…

Now all is silent

And you are all alone

The rain is falling still

But no one mourns here anymore

A cross is placed above your head

The coffin is now your home

There is nothing left to do but

Pray that god will open his door

Los dolientes se han reunido

Para su último adiós

En medio de las piedras grises

En el jardín de los muertos

La lluvia sigue cayendo

La campana de la iglesia toca su toque

Todo envuelto en negro con lágrimas en los ojos

Los de luto se han encontrado

Un hombre de negro y violeta

Escrituras latinas, tierra a tierra

Cenizas a las cenizas de polvo al polvo

Y el renacimiento celestial

Las flores adornan el ataúd negro

Donde yace el frío cuerpo muerto

Que de a poco ahora se baja

En la tierra fría

Funeral…

Ahora todo está en silencio

Y estás solo

La lluvia sigue cayendo

Pero aquí ya nadie llora

Se coloca una cruz sobre tu cabeza.

El ataúd ahora es tu hogar

No queda nada por hacer excepto

Ore para que dios abra su puerta
