Four four almost finite

When I peeked inside

I did not see chalice or grail

God wasn’t there

In the darkness

The curtain tearn

I already saw

Black ships ate the sky

And flying moons

Scared children

The dusk blue breaks

And the bluebottles laugh

The trees all fall and I hear collapse

But smile and nod and watch the dim sunset

Whilst the cocktails clash

Their bleak glass domes

Make shivers in my peacock eye

And I am all Thumbelina

I died for you all

And if I took the time

To take your time

And sleep this time all the way home

And watch the eggtimers bubble and wink

There’s a face behind a gun

That sleeps behind the owl

The matinee is showing in town sunset

And we tumble into the cardboard sunset

Birdsong

Teethless

Sunset

The flowers smile

Cuatro cuatro casi finitos

Cuando miré dentro

no vi cáliz ni grial

Dios no estaba allí

En la oscuridad

el telón se rasga

ya vi

Los barcos negros se comieron el cielo

y lunas voladoras

niños asustados

El azul del atardecer se rompe

Y las moscas azules se ríen

Todos los árboles caen y escucho colapsar

Pero sonríe y asiente y mira la tenue puesta de sol

Mientras chocan los cócteles

Sus cúpulas de vidrio sombrío

Hacer escalofríos en mi ojo de pavo real

Y yo soy toda Pulgarcita

morí por todos ustedes

Y si me tomo el tiempo

Para tomarte tu tiempo

Y dormir esta vez todo el camino a casa

Y mira los cronómetros burbujear y guiñar

Hay una cara detrás de un arma

Que duerme detrás del búho

La matiné se muestra en la puesta del sol de la ciudad

Y caemos en la puesta de sol de cartón
