Awoken as a prisoner of cold reality

The past, a mere reflexion, succumbing to control

Some may rush, some hesitate

Once burning enthusiasm gone, you’re stuck with no defense

The tempting sin is lost within, you’re left with all your grief

No visions left to see, and no more tales left to believe

And the things you once called freedom, now but splinters at your feet

All those victories you’ve tasted turned to withdraw and defeat

You forgot to light a fire, though you wanted to watch it burn

But the blowing wind is free
