Void - Craft

In the gleaming nightfall we can watch the light retreat.

Its rays slither eastward, like snakes along the grass,

As it leaves us to ourselves.

Woods of tall trees

Old, deformed and barren — obscuring the sun —

Red and tired

From working its way up from life giver

To massive hydrogen bomb

We can’t see the sun,

But we can see the god rays surrounding the trees

And brief dim flickers of light shining through them.

These are rays from a god that is long dead.

It’s our final night in this place.

There is no tomorrow.

This evening we drink to the day the world ended.

En el reluciente anochecer podemos ver la luz retirarse.

Sus rayos se deslizan hacia el este, como serpientes a lo largo de la hierba,

Como nos deja a nosotros mismos.

Bosques de árboles altos

Viejo, deforme y estéril, oscureciendo el sol,

rojo y cansado

De abrirse camino desde el dador de vida

A la bomba de hidrógeno masiva

No podemos ver el sol,

Pero podemos ver los rayos de Dios rodeando los árboles.

Y breves y tenues destellos de luz brillando a través de ellos.

Estos son rayos de un dios que murió hace mucho tiempo.

Es nuestra última noche en este lugar.

No hay mañana.

Esta noche brindamos por el día del fin del mundo.
