Senseless Abandon - Circle of Dust

«You could be born in the church!

Your mother and father could raise you in the

church!

They could bring all your meals and feed you in the church!

They could bring a cot and let you sleep in the church!

Then they could bring

your desk so that you could work out of the church!

Then when you die,

they could remove the pulpit and bury you in the church!

But if you don’t know

Jesus you’re gonna die in the church and wake up in Hell!»

«Watch the wire and check your targets.»

«Think about the future!»

The cold of winter now resides where fires once burned bright

Unseen forces waging war for possession of your sight

Allowing walls to crumble, leaving armor to decay

The enemy you once engaged steals vital time away

O children, how could you ignore your slowly rotting soul?

A carnal mind will bring you death, sin will take its toll

From certain death you came to life accepting saving grace

The seed was sown on stony ground, you now spit in Savior’s face

Hand already to the plow, gaze back at what you’ve lost

Withdraw yourself from servanthood reconsidering the cost

Pride infests your spirit, love of money rooting deep

Ignore conviction’s dying plea, now say «Goodbye morality»

Looking for the answers that you once held in your hand

Watch your treasures crumble like a kingdom in the sand

Father Time exacts his dues, they’re getting hard to pay

And even so you turn your back and walk farther away

«Wake up in Hell!»

Why this apostasy for you know your days are few?

You know whatsoever you sow will be reaped back by you

Turn back unto the Lord for in Him is life alone

Abandoning the truth you’ve known is death and it makes no sense at all

«Think about the future!»

«Hang on, boys, it’s all downhill from here.»

Tu madre y tu padre podrían criarte en el

¡Podrían traerte todas tus comidas y alimentarte en la iglesia!

¡Podrían traer un catre y dejarte dormir en la iglesia!

Entonces podrían traer

tu escritorio para que pudieras trabajar fuera de la iglesia!

Entonces cuando mueras,

¡podrían quitar el púlpito y enterrarte en la iglesia!

Pero si no sabes

¡Jesús, vas a morir en la iglesia y despertarás en el infierno!»

«Mira el cable y comprueba tus objetivos».

"¡Piensa en el futuro!"

El frío del invierno ahora reside donde los fuegos una vez brillaron

Fuerzas invisibles que libran una guerra por la posesión de tu vista

Permitir que las paredes se derrumben, dejando que la armadura se deteriore

El enemigo con el que una vez te enfrentaste te roba un tiempo vital

Oh hijos, ¿cómo podrían ignorar su alma que se pudre lentamente?

Una mente carnal te traerá la muerte, el pecado pasará factura

De una muerte segura llegaste a la vida aceptando la gracia salvadora

La semilla fue sembrada en terreno pedregoso, ahora escupes en la cara del Salvador

Mano ya al arado, mira hacia atrás a lo que has perdido

Retírate de la servidumbre reconsiderando el costo

El orgullo infesta tu espíritu, el amor al dinero se arraiga profundamente

Ignora la última súplica de la convicción, ahora di «Adiós moralidad»

Buscando las respuestas que una vez tuviste en tu mano

Mira cómo tus tesoros se desmoronan como un reino en la arena

Padre Tiempo exige sus cuotas, se están volviendo difíciles de pagar

Y aun asi le das la espalda y te alejas mas

«¡Despierta en el infierno!»

¿Por qué esta apostasía porque sabes que tus días son pocos?

Sabes que todo lo que siembras será cosechado por ti

Vuélvanse al Señor porque en Él está solo la vida

Abandonar la verdad que has conocido es la muerte y no tiene ningún sentido

«Comprueba tus objetivos.»

"¡Piensa en el futuro!"

"Espera, muchachos, todo es cuesta abajo desde aquí".
