And do you ever — wake in a shroud of denial, once in a while

Wondering why

What’s the next step

The first is admitting you may have

a problem in saying it out loud

anyone will do

we need to get used to the concept

The truth seems better skewed (?)

But seeing is believing

And you can’t see the truth

Preguntándome por qué

¿Cuál es el siguiente paso?

El primero es admitir que puede tener

un problema para decirlo en voz alta

cualquiera lo hará

tenemos que acostumbrarnos al concepto

La verdad parece mejor sesgada (?)

Pero ver es creer

Y no puedes ver la verdad

¿Alguna vez vas un poco demasiado lejos?

¿Alguna vez peleaste para escapar de quién eres?

¿Alguna vez tratas de arreglártelas con tu sonrisa?

¿Y alguna vez te despiertas en un sudario de negación, de vez en cuando?

Preguntándome por qué
