The Brighter the Light, the Darker the Shadow - Bloodthorn

In the far horizon a shapeless darkness filled the sky

And slowly with a faint whispering, making the air putrid and unbreathable

The nightshadow came crawling…

The ground was covered by fallen men, their bodies mangled and torn

Upon the Hillside the Final stand, and they knew they would come home no more

A deafening thunder shook the earth and lightning split open the sky

Rain fell like blood when the heavens turned black and the sun slowly withered

and died

Engulfing the fallen and standing alike, killing the living and waking the dead

A darkness so black it would make night seem like day covered the hills and the

plains

The hearts of the mortals, all but the brightest, turned to stone black as the

night

But the brighter the light, the darker the shadow that consumes the source of all life

Trapped by the evil he set out to conquer, his soul now cried out in vain

His mind was twisted and lost in the kingdom where madness and suffering reign

Deformed by the darkness the Nightshade brought

Condemned to be killed but never to die

Forever in torment, chained to the throne

Where the Nightshwadow rules with death on it’s side

En el lejano horizonte una oscuridad sin forma llenó el cielo

Y lentamente con un leve susurro, haciendo el aire pútrido e irrespirable

El suelo estaba cubierto por hombres caídos, sus cuerpos destrozados y desgarrados.

En la ladera de la colina, la posición final, y sabían que no volverían a casa más

Un trueno ensordecedor sacudió la tierra y un relámpago abrió el cielo

La lluvia cayó como sangre cuando los cielos se volvieron negros y el sol se marchitó lentamente.

Engullendo a los caídos y de pie por igual, matando a los vivos y despertando a los muertos

Una oscuridad tan negra que haría que la noche pareciera día cubrió las colinas y las

llanuras

Los corazones de los mortales, todos menos los más brillantes, se convirtieron en piedra negra como el

noche

Pero cuanto más brillante es la luz, más oscura es la sombra que consume la fuente de toda vida.

Atrapada por el mal que se dispuso a conquistar, su alma ahora gritaba en vano

Su mente estaba retorcida y perdida en el reino donde reinan la locura y el sufrimiento.

Deformado por la oscuridad que trajo Nightshade

Condenado a ser asesinado pero nunca a morir

Para siempre en tormento, encadenado al trono

Donde Nightshwadow gobierna con la muerte de su lado
