So i teared up for a while in the refrigeration aisle

Thought i woulda had enough dough, to splurge on flaming hot cheetos

So, i’m crossing off my grocery list — not what i got, what i can’t afford

Didn’t even bother walking toward the other end of the store

Instead, we backtracked — racked a couple of items cuz i had to stretch the

stack

I thought that we were straight, so we bounced but really instead

Ended up leaving with only half a meal, got cheese but couldn’t buy bread

Headed back to grandmas house, but all the locks got changed

Fist fodder son the night before, so now we all estranged

Imagine we, baby and me, groceries locked out the house

So i hit the homie up in parks (siponey?) cuz i knew she had a couch

I said listen, please i hate to ask, but might we spend the night

We can’t go over to uncles house, they wake the baby when they fight

See, you don’t know no struggle ‘till you’ve lived life out a duffel

Till you’ve weathered all the elements, i got bronchitis as my evidence

So don’t get me started on healthcare

Costs so high, it kept me on welfare

And don’t ask me all the details

I was broke so i worked retail

Cuz i knew that i’d get coverage if i worked up to full time

But bitch ass boss with gain gave me only 39

Pensé que tendría suficiente dinero para derrochar en cheetos calientes en llamas

Entonces, estoy tachando mi lista de compras, no lo que tengo, lo que no puedo pagar

Ni siquiera se molestó en caminar hacia el otro extremo de la tienda.

En cambio, retrocedimos: acumulamos un par de artículos porque tuve que estirar el

pila

Pensé que éramos heterosexuales, así que rebotamos, pero en realidad

Terminé yéndome con solo la mitad de una comida, conseguí queso pero no pude comprar pan

Regresé a la casa de la abuela, pero cambiaron todas las cerraduras

Puño forraje hijo la noche anterior, así que ahora todos nos distanciamos

Imagina que nosotros, el bebé y yo, las compras cerraron la casa

Así que golpeé al homie en los parques (¿siponey?) porque sabía que tenía un sofá

Dije escucha, por favor odio preguntar, pero ¿podríamos pasar la noche?

No podemos ir a la casa de los tíos, despiertan al bebé cuando pelean

Mira, no conoces ninguna lucha hasta que has vivido la vida en una bolsa de lona

Hasta que hayas resistido todos los elementos, tengo bronquitis como mi evidencia

Así que no me hagas empezar con el cuidado de la salud

Los costos son tan altos que me mantuvo en asistencia social

Y no me preguntes todos los detalles
