Covering mountains and loosening winds

Filling her sphere

In dark, shallow water a beacon shines

Circulating her light

Guiding the ships, safely over the waters

Leading them through the night

Evening comes early, comes early to our town

Working men stay

Bending their necks over oars as they frown

Little girls pray

In dark…

Rests in a nook

Sits at the bedside, no want to roam

Closing her book

Pronto ella está aquí

Cubriendo montañas y aflojando vientos

llenando su esfera

En aguas oscuras y poco profundas brilla un faro

Circulando su luz

Guiando los barcos, con seguridad sobre las aguas

Guiándolos a través de la noche

La tarde llega temprano, llega temprano a nuestro pueblo

Los trabajadores se quedan

Doblando sus cuellos sobre los remos mientras fruncen el ceño

Las niñas rezan

En la oscuridad…

Descansa en un rincón
